Maudlin

I wrote this a while ago. I’m not actually feeling all that maudlin tonight.

I have to accept that there’s no way my life was ever going to be easy. In the society I live in, as it currently is, it wasn’t a possibility. Having a diagnosis literally just means a different flavor of the same problem. “The biggest stereotype about disability is that it doesn’t exist.”
