So, this is… somewhat dark? It’s been in my drafts for a while, but it stands on its own already so I may as well post it.
The choice you make when someone you care about hurts you
the choice to say “this is a wall between us”
or “I love you, I am on your side, we will make this not matter”
has basically the same elements whether you’ve made a good choice or not.
The differences can be pretty subtle.
Which is why it’s scary to try to repair things when you have the regret of trying to fix something that was hurting you hanging over you.
