So FYI this is a post about self harm, but it’s not graphic or anything.
Advice blogger: You can always try to replace self-injurious stims with non-harmful ones. For example, if I realize that I’m swinging my legs against the table even though they’re already bruised, I try these other stims instead…
My brain: But that’s such a nice sensation, why would you want to stop doing that?
